Introduction
One of the most pronounced ingredients in any pharmaceutical industries is water. Water serves as a solvent and ingredient for formulation in many pharmaceutical procedures. Special care and attention must, therefore, be taken to ensure that the water used, meet the standard quality for purified water. Water is purified to remove impurities and prevent microbes which might cause contamination of products.
For Water to be rendered purified, it is passed through different type of industrial water purification systems including filtration, distillation, etc. This type of Water Purified system run on specific set para like temperature, conductivity, Flow, Pressure, and tank level etc.
Detail description
In Central SCADA water system, each water system machine is operated by standalone HMI. An HMI has a facility to store Process Data, Alarms and Audit trials in its local memory. HMI also allows to take print directly from it. However, due to hardware resource limitation of HMI, the data is periodically forwarded to Central SCADA Station without any human intervention. This store and forward process of data is fully automatic. If in case HMI loses communication with Central Station, it keeps storing data locally and pushes the data to central server when communication resumes. An HMI has dual ethernet communication ports which allows it to communicate with Machine PLC and Central SCADA at the same time.
Central SCADA Software allows user to monitor multiple machines from a single place. It also provides Alarm, Audit and Process data monitoring and printing facility. Central SCADA also has its own Audit trial, which tracks all the activities carried out by SCADA.
Relevant facts or Key benefits
LUOVA has Designed, Installed and Commissioned complete Centralize SCADA for Water Systems at 3 customer places in Gujarat.
Benefits: Operator can easily control and Monitor all the parameters of multiple water system machines from Central SCADA station. All reports printing can happen at Central SCADA station. All US FDA 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines are complied at each HMI station and Central SCADA Station.
Centralize SCADA system helps user to manage entire water system of plant from single place. Also, data storage capacity are greatly extended due to central computer based storage. Both HMI and SCADA comply with all regulatory requirements of US FDA as per 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines.
